Get What You Want in Only 3 Steps

There are 3 things that most of us, if not all of us, will need at some point in order to get what we want. They are:

Information - Inspiration - Introspection

There is no order to these three, yet my experience tells me that we tend to approach them in the following order:

INFORMATION - We will need enough information on getting the skills necessary to get what we what. Whether you want to lose more weight, make more money, find more love... we often need to learn more in order to get more of what it is we want.

Information is the tire to our vehicle - it gets us traction on the road ahead.

INSPIRATION - We will need to be inspired to seek out information... cause it can get pretty boring at times, if your approach only includes the gathering of information. This inspiration can motive us to now use the skills and knowledge we have received from the new information.

Inspiration is the fuel in the gas tank of our vehicle - it gets us moving.

INTROSPECTION - We will eventually need to examine our deeper desires and priorities hidden within our wants. Out of all 3 steps, this is the most over-looked and under-appreciated. It requires stillness of mind and depth of heart. When you are ready you will get to this step.

Introspection is the steering wheel to our vehicle - it gets us heading in the right direction.

So, ask yourself what it is that you want, get just enough information on it (don’t over do it, we’ll discuss that next time), get inspiration in healthy amounts (but don’t let it become your drug, we’ll discuss that next time as well), and introspect into your wants frequently (as with the others, this can be over done, although it is frequently under done - You’ll have to figure out how much is right for you in each moment).
